Improve system performance in Vista
Periodically Vista takes on a mind of it’s own. My hard disk light starts flashing away and my system slows down. Vista SP2 Beta installed
Decided to throw caution to the wind today and install a beta of SP2. Why? Well it didn’t hurt installing the beta of SP1, in fact it actually *improved* my system and so far I’ve had a painless experience with SP2. "Ghoster" helps you concentrate?
I remembered an application today for the Mac that was really cool and would dim any background windows so as to help you focus on the foreground. Looking around for something for Windows I came across “Ghoster” which does just that. Launch it (no setup) and any foreground Window appears normally and everything else is dimmed.
